Some people may really enjoy having photographs done, others might dread the experience but are just doing it for their loved ones. Either way, you deserve to feel comfortable and know what to expect going into your session!
All sessions offer a consultation call (zoom or phone) before you even book, to allow time to meet each other, hear your vision and answer questions. It's not required, you'll also have the opportunity to complete a questionnaire. I would love to help with the pressure of planning location and outfits, if needed. If you have any questions throughout your experience, I am here to serve you!
I love to include a variety of images for you to walk away with. That will include a handful of updated "posed" photos if you'd like (the kind for your Christmas card) as well as lots of candid, natural captures of you interacting with those you love. Together, we can create that by me guiding you with "prompts" or even simply just following the way your family/kids lead the interaction during the session. All sessions include a minimum guaranteed image quantity however, I tend to share all usable images!
The process would begin when you reach out to share your needs and vision for your photos. I can't wait to chat with you! Before you even book, you're welcome to a consultation call to allow time for us to talk, answer questions, and see if we're a good fit for each other. No obligations. The call isn't required, however, it's complimentary and can be either zoom or phone call, according to your preference.
After you decide to go forward (yay!), then we'll continue with as much communication as needed to plan for your session. I want you to have a wonderful experience and feel as comfortable as possible. You will deposit a retainer fee when you receive a contract to make the booking official, as well as a questionnaire to fill out so I can best serve you and meet your needs during your experience.
When the time comes to finally meet for the session, we will spend up to 1 or 1.5 hours together depending on the session type. But I won't leave if I feel that you won't be satisfied with the images or if there's maybe something else you're hoping to achieve. During our time together, I will guide you with prompts to encourage natural interactions or simply just follow the flow it it's a family session with unpredictable young children.
This might be the most fun part! Each session type has a minimum number of guaranteed images you'll receive, however I love to share all the usable images from our time together, so potentially even more than the minimum number! You will receive access to your own gallery for viewing and sharing with others. This gallery link will allow you to easily download the high-resolution images. Through that link you may also order from professional printing labs and have your photos delivered right to your home! After you have access to your photos, you can go back for viewing anytime and share to your online platforms. Don't forget to tag me on social medias so I can share in the excitement with you!
